We are pleased to announce two exciting awards that are available for attendees to the ICMP 2013. Please see below for more information and application forms.
IOMP Travel award
1. The goals of the program are: to assist medical physicists from IOMP member organizations in developing countries to participate in the 20th International Conference on Medical Physics (ICMP2013) and help them to become more effective in promoting the advancement of medical physics in their own countries; and to foster international co-operation in the field of medical physics between all member countries of the lOMP.
2. An award of
$1,000 to $3,000 depending on travel distance shall be made to each successful applicant to partially cover the registration fee and travel
expenses to attend the ICMP2013 in Brighton, UK.
3. In the past, IAEA
has provided full or partial support to some applicants who
satisfied the special requirements of the Agency.
4. EFOMP provides several Awards/Bursaries to help pay for the ICMP registration fee. Applicants meeting the special requirements are encouraged to apply. To be considered for this award, please download the form and submit the separate application.
5. To promote medical physics in Africa, this year IUPAP will provide grants specifically to those participating in the symposium “Medical Physics in Africa” at the ICMP2013, and help select from the pool of applicants and provide assistance towards his or her travel and meeting expenses for attending ICMP2013.
EFOMP ICMP 2013 Award for Medical Physicists
The purpose of this award is to make it possible for a medical physicist who is at an early stage of his/her career and
who is a member of a National Member Organization of EFOMP to participate in the International Conference of Medical Physics 2013.
The value of the award will be the registration fee to attend the conference.
Travel and subsistence costs are the responsibility of the applicant and cannot be funded by EFOMP.
